How to calculate marks for the JSSC CGL Exam 2024?
The candidates can download the answer key and the response sheet and have a rough idea of how many marks they have gotten. The candidates can calculate the marks by using the detailed discussion of marks assigned to each section and how to calculate them.
- Paper 1 is an MCQ-based language paper consisting of Hindi and English, both sections carry 60 questions and each question carries 3 marks, in total it carries 120 questions of 360 marks. The Paper 1 is a qualifying exam the candidate would need 30 % minimum to clear it.
- Paper 2 is an MCQ-based language paper consisting of Regional languages, it carries 100 questions and each question carries 3 marks, in total it carries 300 marks. 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
- Paper 3 is an MCQ based on General Knowledge. Having General Science, General Studies, Reasoning and mental ability, Quantitative aptitude, and Computer each carrying 20 questions and General knowledge (Jharkhand) carrying 40 questions, each question carries 3 marks, in total it carries 300 marks. 1 mark deducted for wrong answer.
The candidate can calculate their marks by writing down the number of right answers and multiplying it by 3 (1 for paper 1) they will total number of marks for the right answer, for calculating the total number of marks for the wrong answer write down the number of wrong answers and multiplying it by 1. To calculate the total marks subtract the total number of marks for the right answer from the total number of marks for the wrong answer.
