The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination calendar for the academic year 2024-25 on the official website. As per the officials, NTA is going to conduct a University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test from 10th to 21st June 2024 for the candidates who hold a Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC-recognized Universities/Institutions. UGC NET or NTA-UGC-NET, is the examination for determining the eligibility for the post of assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges. UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
The UGC NET June examination will be conducted online and candidates are allocated a total duration of 3 hour to complete the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. It consists of 2 papers with a total of 150 questions and a maximum score of 300 marks. There is negative marking in UGC NET exam and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers in UGC NET 2023 exam.
