The preliminary examination for various UPPSS Agriculture posts includes questions based on 2 subjects and the exam will be conducted for a total of 300 marks, subject-wise details are provided below.

UPPSC Agriculture Service Selection Process 2024
The selection of the candidates for UPPSC Agriculture posts will be done based on a three-stage selection process- prelims exam, main exam, and an interview. It is necessary for every candidate to score minimum qualifying marks at each stage for the final selection.
Prelims Examination:- The first for the UPPSC Agriculture Services examination is the prelims exam, candidates need to pass this examination for a total of 300 marks.
Mains Examination:- Shortlisted candidates after the prelims exam, will have to appear for the UPPPSC Agriculture mains exam. The exam will consist of 3 subjects including one one optional subject.
Interview:- After passing the prelims and mains exam, shortlisted candidates have to appear in the interview round. Final selection of the candidates will be done based on the interview.
