Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the UPSC CAPF exam every year to recruit eligible candidates for Grade A Officers (Assistant Commandants) posts. The exam will be held for all Paramilitary Forces of India including the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). CAPF Exam Date 2024 Out
CAPF Exam Date 2024 for Assistant Commandants posts will be held on 04th August 2024. The exam will consist of 02 papers. Paper 1 will be held in morning shifts and paper 2 will be held in evening shifts at the various exam centres across India. To appear for the exam the first step is to submit the application forms for UPSC CAPF 2024 which will be available at www.upsc.gov.in from 24th April to 14th May 2024. Candidates holding the required eligibility for Assistant Commandants posts can apply online through the official portal of UPSC.

UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam Date 2024
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the UPSC CAPF written exam on 04th August 2024 in two shifts for paper 1 and paper 2 exam. Admit Cards for the same will be released in 03rd week of July 2024 along with all exam-related information at upsc.gov.in. As the exam date has been announced, the candidates are advised to plan their exam preparation accordingly to clear the exam.
UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern 2024
- UPSC CAPF Exam consists of 02 papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Paper- I will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer and paper II is in descriptive format.
- Paper I is of 2 hours duration and Paper II is of 3 hours duration
- Papers I & II will be in bilingual language & English, excluding English paper
- Paper I is a qualifying stage. Only those candidates who qualify for the Paper 1 exam will be checked for the Paper 2 exams.
